What We Are Doing

GS Accelerate is a firmwide platform to foster innovation and collaboration across Goldman Sachs, with a focus on the firm’s future growth. Accelerate focuses on building brand new businesses for GS, while offering employees the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

We are building a new digital business that is a ground up on-cloud engineering project. As such, we are focused on creating a dynamic, flexible environment that can rapidly create and deliver. Engineers will play an integral role in delivering the proofs-of-concepts or minimum viable product in an exciting greenfield environment. They will also help define both the scope and direction of the businesses as it grows.

We are looking for a talented and passionate engineer who thrives in an extremely entrepreneurial, fast paced environment. This is a high visibility role, backed by some of the senior-most leaders of the firm, and as such, will require creativity and drive to deliver on an ambitious roadmap.

What You Will Be Doing
Design and build best-in class user interfaces for both internal and external users.
Develop a deep understanding of our user base and be part of the team that define the product roadmap.
You will be working as part of a highly experienced engineering team and jump in at the beginning of a high growth product
What We Are Looking For
3+ years of UX design experience; conducting user research; developing wireframes and prototypes.
Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3, able to work closely with dedicated UI developers.
Hands-on development experience building responsive web applications, ideally using the React framwork.
Experience in all phases of the UI SDLC
Experience with cross-browser development and testing
